EARTHQUAKE!
In case ya'll didn't hear, see, or feel, there was an earthquake yesterday! I sat on my couch watching a movie with my roommate, Vanessa. As we watched the movie a scary/jumpy part was fast approaching. And then I felt the couch shake. I turned around thinking "who is behind the couch?! Oh my goodness, who is shaking the couch?!" My roommate looked at me, also stunned. She felt it also from the other couch. My other roommate Cassie was upstairs and came home claiming to have also felt the shaking. What in the world? Turns out there as an earthquake in Idaho, just minutes from the Minnetonka Cave. It measured a whole whoppin' 3.6! CRAZY! But, what can I say? It was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity!

The WHOLE fam damily!
This weekend I was fortunate enough to spend not nearly enough time with my entire, crazy, rambunctious, extended family. It doesn't happen very often, maybe every couple of years. And not to my surprise, it was a blast! Fights and tears were few this year. There were many smiles, laughs, stories, and reminiscing. It was such a blessing to see each family member and spend time with them.
I couldn't help but post this picture. I am glad someone had the good sense to take a picture! Getting them all in the same room with a smile on their faces is just short of a miracle! I guess there are just somethings we never grow out of. Your siblings, you love them, but SERIOUSLY you can't live with 'em and you can't live without 'em!
This women is undoubtedly, absolutely, fantastically, AMAZING! I feel soooo blessed to be able to call her my grandma and to have her in my life. She is so fun, so talented, so patient, so caring, and so spunky! How many people can say their grandmother is spunky? She is my role model, my hero, and one of my favorite people on earth! She opens her arms and her heart to many, and it is in her home that many people feel loved, comfortable, and truly at home.
Now you may think we are crazy (which we probably are), but I wouldn't have it any other way!
I hope you girls all know how much I love you! But just in case you don't:
Tori- You are SO beautiful! And I don't think I have ever met someone so sweet, so caring, so considerate, and so patient as you (well maybe not toward your sisters!) You are so talented and I hope you know it.
Kelsie-My adorable little sister. You have a spirit all your own-as well as an attitude, one that I have grown to love you for. You're bound and determined to do whatever you set your mind to, and there's no doubt that you'll do it in your own good time and way. I love you sooo much! And I envy your strength.
Kendyll-You, missy are so incredibly talented and smart! I hope you won't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. You are such a joy to be around and you are very mindful of those around you. You are unique and you are beautiful. Don't you ever forget it. And don't you DARE let anyone tell you are not.
Brielle- You are perhaps one of the most babalicious girls I have had to privilege to grow up with. You have such a fun spirit about you. And there is never a dull moment when you are around. You have a way of including everyone and making them feel special and loved.
Aren't we just adorable?? Why, yes, yes, we are. I love these crazy people with a passion! I am so grateful to know them, to have grown up with them, and to love them. Some days we may not be able to stand each other (okay, most days), but I don't know where I would be with out sister and brothers.I couldn't help but post this picture. NAUGHTY Aunt Stacey! Always the trouble maker! :D

Being Crafty!
So, I've been pretty crafty lately. And to be honest I hope it lasts! I have had sooo much fun and it really, really, REALLY tests my patience. Who knows maybe that could be a good thing! Here is a look at what I've been up to.
This is a frame that I made for my adorable friend Brittney :D
And this is a bouquet of flowers that I made for my sweet lil' sis.

Pranked!
So one lonely Friday night I was sitting in my apartment all by myself with nothing to do. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to skype with my dear cousin Tori. And we decided to do some prank calling! I haven't prank called since I was in the fifth grade! It was sooo much fun and soooo thrilling :D First, we called my Aunt Lisa and told her that we were from the Oregon Humane Society and we were doing a project with the Cat Adoption Team. And we had received a cat that met the description and criteria she was looking for. Was she still interested in adopting? Heavens no! She hadn't even registered to adopt a cat! Hahahaha! It was great!
Next we called Aunt Leslie and told her we were from the Palomino Motors in Dallas Texas. We were calling to confirm the color of the 2011 Lexus CT Hybrid her husband had ordered. Did they want kelly green or forest green? The confirmation number was as follows : T8TL0V32PRKCA1 (Tori and Taylor love to prank call). She was definitely shocked! But what can I say we are AMAZING! I guess my time working at a call center paid off. I am extremely convincing and professional over the phone! :D

Belated and Bittersweet
BELATED: This weekend has definitely been busy and adventurous. On Saturday morning Lexi and I ventured out to the farmer's market in Logan. It was soooo much fun! And if you ever want to see crazy...well let's just say that Lexi and I are quite the pair. I happen to think we are very entertaining :D Man, I just love that girl! She is a hoot in a half! I think we will start going to the farmer's market regularly, maybe even religiously (if my work schedule permits).
BITTERSWEET: I am so happy that I had the opportunity to see ALMOST all of my family this weekend, with ALMOST no tension! But, it was a bittersweet experience knowing that I only had a short while with them. And it was most definitely hard to say goodbye today. But I know I'll see them again. I can't wait until we are all together again!
And they spoiled me relentlessly! Rotten is what I am! My dad bought me a rug and took me grocery shopping in his food storage. My Aunt Leslie gave me a journal and bought me a laptop decal. My grandma took me in for the weekend, fed me, took me shopping, and gave me gas money. I feel so lucky and so loved. And I am most definitely grateful for the wonderful gifts I received this weekend as well as the much needed blessing of seeing my family.

Sad Day
Logan gets lonelier and lonelier everyday. And with the temperamental weather even the sun seems to be disappearing. What a downer! It's been a sad day today. Braylin (my roommate and one of my very best friends) left today for the entire summer. Right now she is aboard a plane, making her way home to North Carolina. I miss her already! And I wonder who is going to bicker and fight with me? Who is going to drag my sorry little booty around forcing me to have a social life? Who will talk me to sleep? Who will tell me when I'm being unreasonable and crazy? I guess this is just God's way of saying, "Taylor, stop hibernating! Get out of your lonely little bubble and go meet people. Make new friends and enjoy yourself." The funny thing is, is that is probably what Braylin would tell me to do. She'd say, "Taylor, you look like a babe! Now, go find yourself a cute boy! Because after all, if you don't date, you won't mate!"

Gone Fishin'
Wow! Today was absolutely amazing! Braylin, Ember, and I woke up at the butt crack of dawn this morning and started our journey to Bear Lake. The drive through Logan Canyon was beautiful! The rivers were overflowing, the damns were full, and everything was a luscious green. We drove the whole way with no music; just enjoying each other's company and talking (what I do best).
As we approached the lake we got overly excited! Seeing the lake reminded me of fishing with my dad on our little blow-up raft at Hoop Lake. I then decided that I miss fishing! And I told Ember and Braylin "I needs to find me a cute boy to take me fishing!"
When we got to the lake we found a nice grassy area to lay and soak up some sun (the lake was so full that there wasn't really any beach). Later, Ember and I headed towards a little stream that emptied into the lake. After wading in the stream for a few minutes we realized that it was full of fish! Being the CRAZY girl that I am, I chased the fish and attempted to catch them with my hands Turns out I got to go fishing after all--and I didn't even need a boy to take me!

Ready To Set Sail
So here I am, Taylor Zacher blogging! Who would have thunk?! Not I that's for sure. But I promised my dear, sweet, talented, and AMAZING friend Ember (my only follower) that I would give it a try. This is not my first blog, however, my first blog set sail and sunk. So here it goes... I'm testing the water. Again. Wish me luck! And brace yourself for the same old boring story.
