Belated and Bittersweet
BELATED: This weekend has definitely been busy and adventurous. On Saturday morning Lexi and I ventured out to the farmer's market in Logan. It was soooo much fun! And if you ever want to see crazy...well let's just say that Lexi and I are quite the pair. I happen to think we are very entertaining :D Man, I just love that girl! She is a hoot in a half! I think we will start going to the farmer's market regularly, maybe even religiously (if my work schedule permits).
BITTERSWEET: I am so happy that I had the opportunity to see ALMOST all of my family this weekend, with ALMOST no tension! But, it was a bittersweet experience knowing that I only had a short while with them. And it was most definitely hard to say goodbye today. But I know I'll see them again. I can't wait until we are all together again!
And they spoiled me relentlessly! Rotten is what I am! My dad bought me a rug and took me grocery shopping in his food storage. My Aunt Leslie gave me a journal and bought me a laptop decal. My grandma took me in for the weekend, fed me, took me shopping, and gave me gas money. I feel so lucky and so loved. And I am most definitely grateful for the wonderful gifts I received this weekend as well as the much needed blessing of seeing my family.

Sad Day
Logan gets lonelier and lonelier everyday. And with the temperamental weather even the sun seems to be disappearing. What a downer! It's been a sad day today. Braylin (my roommate and one of my very best friends) left today for the entire summer. Right now she is aboard a plane, making her way home to North Carolina. I miss her already! And I wonder who is going to bicker and fight with me? Who is going to drag my sorry little booty around forcing me to have a social life? Who will talk me to sleep? Who will tell me when I'm being unreasonable and crazy? I guess this is just God's way of saying, "Taylor, stop hibernating! Get out of your lonely little bubble and go meet people. Make new friends and enjoy yourself." The funny thing is, is that is probably what Braylin would tell me to do. She'd say, "Taylor, you look like a babe! Now, go find yourself a cute boy! Because after all, if you don't date, you won't mate!"

Gone Fishin'
Wow! Today was absolutely amazing! Braylin, Ember, and I woke up at the butt crack of dawn this morning and started our journey to Bear Lake. The drive through Logan Canyon was beautiful! The rivers were overflowing, the damns were full, and everything was a luscious green. We drove the whole way with no music; just enjoying each other's company and talking (what I do best).
As we approached the lake we got overly excited! Seeing the lake reminded me of fishing with my dad on our little blow-up raft at Hoop Lake. I then decided that I miss fishing! And I told Ember and Braylin "I needs to find me a cute boy to take me fishing!"
When we got to the lake we found a nice grassy area to lay and soak up some sun (the lake was so full that there wasn't really any beach). Later, Ember and I headed towards a little stream that emptied into the lake. After wading in the stream for a few minutes we realized that it was full of fish! Being the CRAZY girl that I am, I chased the fish and attempted to catch them with my hands Turns out I got to go fishing after all--and I didn't even need a boy to take me!

Ready To Set Sail
So here I am, Taylor Zacher blogging! Who would have thunk?! Not I that's for sure. But I promised my dear, sweet, talented, and AMAZING friend Ember (my only follower) that I would give it a try. This is not my first blog, however, my first blog set sail and sunk. So here it goes... I'm testing the water. Again. Wish me luck! And brace yourself for the same old boring story.
